Hot Chocolate Recipe for Book Lovers
December 15, 2017
Good
Morning my fellow book friends!
So, this is the season to sit back and relax,
sing some Christmas songs that tend to get annoying real fast and to read a ton
of books. But, for that to be completed you need some sweet motivation in your
life, therefore I’m going to share with you a recipe that my family makes
(mostly me), that’s perfect to enjoy while the snow is falling.
So, don’t
mind the calories and just enjoy this decadent recipe just for BookNerds like
us. And, if you want to drink this Hot Chocolate in the summer be my guest. I’m
guilty of that all the time.
Ingredients:
> 3 tablespoons
cocoa powder. (And a little more for serving)
> 3 cups whole milk.
> 6 ounces semisweet
chocolate. And Chop it finely.
> 3 tablespoons of granulated
sugar
> Lightly sweetened
whipped cream (for serving afterwards).
Preparation:
> Bring ¾ cup
water to a simmer in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
> Whisk in 3
Tbsp. cocoa powder until no lumps remain, then add milk and return to a simmer.
> Whisk in
chocolate and sugar and cook, keep whisking, until mixture is smooth and creamy
and chocolate is melted. (5 min).
> Divide hot
chocolate among mugs and Top with
whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
Enjoy!
