Three weary
travelers, the last in their group are heading towards Mexico. After the
outbreak they heard it was a safe place and are determined to make a life for
themselves there.
Stressed, bloody and exhausted the three stumble upon a back woods cabin in the middle of nowhere. There is Buck, an aspiring cage fighter and his beautiful fiance Denny. Buck's sister Tammy completes the ensemble from a clan that used to number over a dozen.
The remains of the fleeing family desperately need rest and the cabin that the Taylor brothers hold out in seems the safest place they have been in months. Fighting off zombies daily has taken its toll on the three travelers and the reluctant hospitality the brothers offer is a Godsend.
Buck soon realizes though that all is not as it seems as the brothers start playing mind games with the group and continue to delay their departure.
Is he just being paranoid? Or were they safer on the road with the zombies?

Book Review:
I love Zombie Kickass stories and this one was no different but it was soooo short! The story, the plot, the characters were super well written and well thought-out to create an amazing story filled with different personalities and twisted situations...
I never read anything by L. R. Currell but i'm definitely keeping my eye open for this author that wrote this disgusting zombie book that i really liked!
Buck, Denny and Tammy can be sooo stupid and beware because you'll feel like slapping them at times but they are also badass so it was no biggie... I hated Denny because she was a spoiled bitch but then she picks up a gun and all hell breaks loose and she turns into this zombie killing machine. Then there is Tammy (The one that i actually liked the whole book) and she is awesome as well and super careful... And Then Buck, the cage fighter and amazing protector of the group.
These three will walk straight into hell when they find two brothers in a house that offer them food and shelter... (Dubious? Yap!) and they turn out to be twisted fucks (as expected). But that was a great addition to turn this story into something even more fucked up. Loved it.
For someone who likes zombies, awesome characters and gruesome stories that won't take much time of your day this book is definitely right!
