All Noelle Cunningham has ever wanted is a life beyond–beyond the walls of Eden, where only the righteous are allowed to remain, and beyond her stiflingly restrictive existence as a councilman’s daughter. But only ruins lie outside the City, remnants of a society destroyed by solar storms decades earlier.

The sectors surrounding Eden house the corrupt, the criminal–men like Jasper McCray, bootlegger and cage fighter. Jas clawed his way up from nothing to stand at the right hand of Sector Four’s ruthless leader, and he’ll defend the O’Kane gang with his life. But no fight ever prepared him for the exiled City girl who falls at his feet.

Her innocence is undeniable, but so is their intense sexual attraction, and soon they’re crossing every boundary Noelle barely knew she had. But if she wants to belong to Jas, first she'll have to open herself to the gang, to a dangerous world of sex, lust and violence. A world where passion is power, and freedom is found in submission.

Book Review:

Freakout Mode! Beyond Shame is Sinful and Liberating all together. It's about knowing what you crave and fighting to get it without the shame. IT'S A HOT STORY! Never would i though to like a book with so many main characters but they were all so unique and badass that i couldn't resist. Trust Me, it will leave you begging for more from the very first page and then it gets better and better.

The book Blurb and Cover tells you from the start that this book is going to be a Badass but you are never really prepared for what's on the inside. It's crude. It's Raw. It's HOT AS HELL. And it's a type of loyalty hard to described but that Kit wrote about perfectly. There is no place for shyness in here. All the Booze, Sex, Fightings and WIldness are portrayed amazingly always with a sense of danger attached. Beyond Shame is a book that will make even the craziest person blush.

My brain is telling me that i shouldn't like Noelle and Jasper as much as i do but my body tells me Otherwise. They have practically no interest and they annoyed me badly but for some reason they kept me interested with their chemistry... It all starts as a bit cliche. The rich girl expelled from a protected city goes out into the sectors and gets drugged and magically falls into the arms of an O'Kane that protects her. Yup it starts like this. But then they start with the sexual chemistry and then the deeper feelings start to come up and we can´t stop reading.
She didn't have a word for it, but she knew what it was. Too much trust. A yearning for possession that went both ways. Hope that what you had would never change.
Maybe it was love.
Lex and Dallas are what really gets this book going. They fight and they make up but they love each other and never actually admit it. Dallas is the leader of the O'Kane and he's in love with Lex but if he admits it then he has a weakness that others can use. And Lex just wants him to admit it and finally take her but he has to be the one making the first step. I loved these two!
No, no use pretending, even to himself. It would never be enough. Not a collar, not a mark. He wouldn't be satisfied with anything less than all of her—mind, body and soul—and Lex would never give up that much control. They'd destroy each other. He'd destroy her, and that was the one thing he couldn't bear. Better to take what he could get and leave them both whole.
Mostly.
There are so many O'Kane gang members that share equal parts in this book which i love because nobody is left out and we get to know the whole gang and their relations. Kit Rocha won me over with this book in a heartbeat.
