An outbreak of The Fever has taken hold of Portland, Oregon, bringing the population to its knees. The Fever spreads and kills quickly, but the dead aren't staying dead.

When her neighbor, Jordan, saves her from one of the infected, Alissa joins him in his plan to escape the city, the disease and the threat of a quarantine that will lock the living in with the undead.

What she doesn't tell him is that she has an illness of her own, one that plays tricks with her mind and makes her a dangerous companion. But Jordan has a secret as well, one that compels him to keep Alissa, a veritable stranger, safe at all costs.

As they fight for their lives and race for their freedom, they'll discover that what they truly need in order to survive is to stay together until the end.

Book Review:
“I will not leave you. Not for anything. Not for your good, not for mine. We’re in this together until the end. I promise you that.”
Alissa and Jordan just became my TOP survivors. I'm telling you, Until The End is a kick ass novel that's going to leave you out of breath and make you start planning a real good zombie survival kit... (With a Crossbow on it for badass reasons). Tracey Ward will completely zombify you!!!

I Absolutely loved that this characters say the word Zombie right away! Also, they're smart as hell and we all know how hard it is to find smart people in zombie books and movies that don't get themselves killed most of the time... Alissa and Jordan rocked it the whole book. She with a Crossbow and Him with a Bat. Can you imagine that? AWESOME.
It’s a sad state of affairs, but it seems that even with the coming of the apocalypse, the dwindling of the human race and society as we know it, there are actually three things you can always count on.
Death, zombies and assholes.
No author wrote about Zombies in a way that actually made me wanna try it out. Well, Tracey Ward did. In here you have the real Slow old Zombies and then you have the Runners (which suck if you're hurt). Both of them are so Grossly described with the guts and blood and infection pouring out of them... It's unbelievable. You'll love it. Just don't read it after lunch...

Things I liked about Alissa: 1º  She has a mental illness and a hard past which pushed her to be super strong when her meds were over or when the situation was bad. Yet, she still managed to keep calm and focus on getting to safety. 2º She's not whiny or the helpless girl that always screams for help. 3º She can kick some Zombie But. 4º She's compassionated but not too much...  I'm definitely her fan.

Jordan was a little lost. We see him trying to protect Alissa always but sometimes i think he forgot himself a little too much. I also would have liked to hear more of his life, his family and even his sister because i think we didn't get to know him that well. Jordan is one of those guys that makes all the decisions needed to survive and isn't weak at all. Besides, if it wasn't for his pre-zombie plan they wouldn't made it past the first page.
"Pluto isn’t a planet anymore, Twinkies are extinct and zombies walk the earth.” “If that doesn’t spell out apocalypse, I don’t know what does.”
Uncle Syd was like a dream came true when we finally met him because Al and Jordan spend the whole book trying to flee to his house... So when they actually meet and we see how badass Uncle Syd is, it's so freaking good. But i still can't wait to continue the next book and see more of this mysterious guy.
“Do me a favor?” he asks suddenly, taking a step toward me.
“What?” I ask nervously, afraid he’ll say something about last night.
He grins and lowers his face to mine. “Kiss me quick. Your uncle is coming back soon and he scares the crap out of me.”
I want to know more about how the infection really begun because we don't really get any of that. And i hope that if we have a Zombie breakout we'll still have internet and phone connection, so i can go online and see how you make bows as well. I loved this part of the technology not being cut off, it's so different from the other books....

Until the End is THAT Grossly good.
