Since Merit was turned into a vampire, and the protector of Chicago’s Cadogan House, it’s been a wild ride. She and Master vampire Ethan Sullivan have helped make Cadogan’s vampires the strongest in North America, and forged ties with paranormal folk of all breeds and creeds, living or dead…or both.

But now those alliances are about to be tested. A strange and twisted magic has ripped through the North American Central Pack, and Merit’s closest friends are caught in the crosshairs. Gabriel Keene, the Pack Apex, looks to Merit and Ethan for help. But who—or what—could possibly be powerful enough to out-magic a shifter?

Merit is about to go toe to toe, and cold steel to cold heart, to find out.

Book Review:

Wild Things has the Wow factor!!! So many new deadly supernatural species are going to make an appearance! Merit's and Ethan's relationship is going to have to prove itself once more! The Cadogan house is going to be twice as badass and Chicago is once more in trouble. Perfect!

“You are Cadogan vampires. You are honorable, brave . . . and more stylish than most.” He got the chuckle he’d undoubtedly wanted. “To that end, and to remind you who you are, we have something to share.”
Prepare yourself to go mental on this book! It's one of the best ones in the series so far but it was so small... I want more than 368 pages. Maybe it wasn't that small after all. But the story is so damn good that you read the book in two seconds and feel like shit once you do because then you have to wait another 5 months for the next one.

Wild Things has a case of missing supernaturals and really strong magic mixed together. It's a freaking story that will leave you on the edge of the seat. Chloe doesn't even give us a moment to rest because four pages into the book and Boom the attacks begin. I say watch out for this because you can always sense the danger but are never really expecting it. Which is one of the things i love about Chloe's type of writing, always expect the bad even if everyone is happy and cheery.

But first things first. New supernaturals like Harpies are going to come out in the open and fight out vampires and werewolves... It gives the book so much action and added suspense because we don't know who's bringing this things forward. Watch out as well because Harpies are freaking bitches!

Okay moving on to the HOT stuff. Merit and Ethan do have a lot more SEXY scenes in this book which is like super important mainly because i felt that in Biting Bad they were more focused on the work instead of themselves as a couple!!! And you know about that "vision" Gabriel had? About the kid with the green eyes? Merit is finally going to come clean to Ethan about that, so expect some sweet scenes... But no, she's not going to get pregnant or engaged!!! (EVEN THOUGH I KEEP BEGGING FOR IT and I'M SURE CHLOE IS JUST TRYING TO SLOWLY KILL US WITH DESPERATION... )...
Tall, lean, and imperious, he’d been my enemy, and he was the opposite of the man I’d thought I’d grow to love. I’d expected to fall for a dreamer, a thinker, an artist. Someone I’d meet in the coffeehouse on a weekend with a satchel full of books, a pair of hipster glasses, and a tendency to quote Fitzgerald.
Ethan preferred Italian suits, vintage wine, and expensive cars. He also knew how to wield a sword, or two of them. He Mastered the House, and he’d killed vampires by his own hand. He was infinitely more complex and difficult than anyone I might have imagined.
And I was more in love with him than I’d imagined was possible. Not just infatuation. Not just lust. But love—complex and awe inspiring and utterly frustrating

Ethan is on the run now! Not because he wants it but because he has to for the sake of his house. OMG can Ethan become even more yummier? HELL NO! He's so much more thoughtful and caring to Merit in here... But at the same time the deliberated and Stubborn side of him is always on alert. LOVE IT. And the freaking Abs!!!! I would seriously kiss Chloe Neill for creating such a perfect character! Merit is still out for food though it's definitely not a big part of the book like it was in the previous ones but its still there and i love it. She still stubborn as hell and she's better at solving cases than she's ever been..  These two definitely blew us away in Wild Things.
“You are mine,” he said, with a wicked spark in his eyes that sent a thrill down my spine.
“You don’t own me,” I reminded him, arcing my body just enough to prove the point.
“No,” he agreed, his lips so soft, playing at the edges of my breast. “We own each other. I am your Master. And you are my Sentinel.”
Gabriel and the whole puppy community is so much more present and willing to kick ass for the Vampires. I even sense some really strong bonding after this. We see the paternal and caring side of Gabriel even more and Jeff is so happy with Falcon!!! But Brenda let me down because her food wasn't nearly as good in here...

We can definitely feel Mallory and Catcher working on their relationship and finally getting much closer. And you will not believe the Magic these two will work on! It's Awesome. One thing i didn't liked? JOnah was far too absent!!!! I WANT JONAH!!!

Well, Wild Things is one of those books where you definitely will be yelling HOLY SHIT AND I SEEING THINGS?! The Writing is so realistic that it will put you inside the story! The action is cutting edge and The Suspense is going to Kill You! I LOVE CHLOE NEILL AND THE CADOGAN HOUSE!
